Chapter 407 Stellan Shouldn't Be Mad Now, Right?
Alaric rolled up with the kids back to the villa. Stellan was already home, and dinner was all set.
"Mommy!" the three kids yelled, sprinting towards her when they spotted Stellan.
Seeing them made Stellan feel all warm and fuzzy. It felt like she hadn't seen them in forever, and she missed
them like crazy.
"Mommy, did you miss us these past few days?" Elisa quickly snuggled up and said all cute-like, "I miss you so
much."
"Of course, | miss you a ton." Honestly, Stellan wasn't in the best mood, but seeing the kids instantly cheered
her up.
"Feels like it's been ages since the five of us had dinner together," Harry said, grabbing Stellan with one hand
and Alaric with the other. "Let's have a nice dinner tonight!" Caspian chimed in joyfully, "Yay, we're such a happy
family of five!"
Seeing the kids like this and hearing their words, Stellan realized they were here to smooth things over for Alaric.
"Alright." Stellan, softened by their sweet talk, agreed to have a good dinner. "You three go wash your hands, it's
tto eat."
"Okay." The three of them dashed to the bathroom.
After they left, Alaric sidled up to Stellan, pulled her close, and asked, "It's been a day and a night, have you
calmed down, babe?"
Stellan pushed his hand away and said, "Nope, still mad. | went to see Josep today, and he was super pissed. |
don't even know how to explain it to him."

never have let Tommy into Nexus Innovations in the first place."
"But we can't turn back time, and things are already a mess. Josep doesn't want to treat you anymore, what are
we gonna do?" Stellan asked seriously.
Alaric grinned and said, "I'm sorry Josep won't treat me, but I still have you. You loveso much, you wouldn't
refuse to treat me, right? If you don't treat me, my condition won't get better, and if it flares up again, | could
die." "Shut up!" Stellan angrily slapped his mouth.
Alaric smiled cheekily and said, "See, you can't bear to letdie. Besides, Tommy's an outsider, but we're a
couple. It's not worth fighting over him."
Just then, the kids cback with clean hands. Stellan scolded Alaric, "Get out of my sight, | don't wanna hear
your sweet talk."
Alaric obediently moved aside and sat down at the dining table.
"Tonight's dinner looks so yummy," Elisa said, practically drooling.
"I made it especially for you 'cause | knew you were coming back. Dig in."
The three kids started chowing down, and Alaric and Stellan also dug in.
After dinner, the kids sensibly went to the study to play, and Alaric carried Stellan into the bathroom.
"You helpedbathe, now it's my turn to help you," Alaric said, trying to butter her up.
Stellan pushed him. "Don't givethat. You didn't respectbefore, and now you're trying to butterup?"
Alaric asked, "That's not fair, when did | ever disrespect you?"
Stellan glared at him. "Doesn't the last incident count?"
"Alright, it counts. Whatever you say, | was wrong." Alaric nodded like a good boy. Arguing with Stellan was a
losing game; admitting fault was the way to go.
Alaric then started helping Stellan with her bath. Since he was being all helpful, Stellan didn't push him away and
let him do his thing.
Stellan said, "Josep's super pissed at you, but he's a responsible doc. He won't treat you anymore, but he gave
"I knew you wouldn't leavehanging," Alaric said, "Alright, you keep treating me, and I'll tough it out for
another five months."
Stellan squinted. "Whether you can get back to running the company depends on how the treatment goes. For
these few months, no matter how the meds mess with you, you gotta stick with it, got it?" "Okay," Alaric said,
"I'll do whatever you say."
Then Alaric moved closer to Stellan and coaxed her softly, "Are you still mad? Please don't be mad, okay?"
"I don't wanna talk to you. Just shut up, finish helpingbathe, and then go to sleep. | don't wanna send you to
the guest room in front of the kids. Just go back to our room and sleep, and don't try anything funny, got it?"
Alaric pouted. "You already said no sex during the six months of treatment, so what else can | do? Of course, I'll
just sleep."
Stellan shot him a cold look and said, "Then zip it, | don't wanna hear you."
"Alright." Alaric closed his mouth and made a funny noise from his throat. "No talking."
Seeing him like this and hearing the noise, Stellan couldn't help but laugh. Seeing her laugh, Alaric also laughed.
Alaric didn't care who was mad or upset about him firing Tommy. The only person he cared about was Stellan.
Now that he had made her happy, he felt at ease and didn't need to worry about anyone else's feelings. After
they finished bathing, Alaric carried Stellan back to the bedroom. The three kids closed the gap in the door they
had been peeking through.

"Yeah, that's thanks to us, right? Otherwise, how could Mommy forgive Daddy so easily?" Harry said.
"We were just helping them this once, don't flatter yourself. Their love has nothing to do with you," Caspian said
as he walked out of the study. Harry, super annoyed, asked Elisa, "Isn't he the most annoying?"
Elisa shook her head. "Not really, don't you think Caspian is super cool and has a strong personality?"
Harry said helplessly, "I really suggest you two live together in the future. When you grow up, don't bother
anyone else, please."
Elisa replied in a delighted tone, "I don't want that. When | grow up, | wanna find a boyfriend with a personality
like Caspian's."
Harry said despairingly, "No, please don't! One annoying person is enough, | can't handle another. If you really
marry someone like him, I'll run away from home."
"Then go ahead," Elisa said mercilessly, "The world is big, there's a place for you somewhere. Good luck!"
Elisa patted Harry on the shoulder and walked out of the study.
"Birds of a feather!" Harry muttered angrily.
